Easter and Outside Fun!

Charlie's first Easter was at Grandma DeDe's house and we had a great time. It was great to see my Uncle Brian, Aunt Sue, and cousins Brian and Emily from Georgia, who I haven't seen in forever and it was their first time meeting Charlie! He was such a good boy, although he did sleep most of the day. The day before Easter we went to Rock Spring with Aunt Kristine and Kori to see the Easter Bunny. Charlie was great, he was awake and alert the whole time. He was so curious about everything, which I guess is a good thing. Kori had a blast...she was OBSESSED with the Easter Bunny and was such a good girl. Of course being the GREAT parents that we are, Kris and I BOTH forgot our cameras so unfortunately I don't have any pictures...boo! I do however have some pics from Easter for you all to enjoy. Just look at how skinny my little man is in his diaper..its hysterical! I swear I feed him, I really do.

This is Charlie's Easter outfit. I am sure that in the future I will not be able to put this on him with the hopes of it staying clean...especially if he is anything like his father.

Skin and bones. Apparently they called Tim "bones" when he was younger...I guess Charlie is going to be "Mini-bones"

I can't believe Charlie is three months old already. He is growing so quickly...length wise of course, not bulking up..as we can all see. Tim and I measured him the other day, he is 24 inches long. I am having such a hard time with clothes for him. The 0 to 3 months are so big in his waist, but the length is perfect...do they make belts that small? haha. Here is a picture of Charlie on his 3 month birthday. He loves sitting on Mommy and Daddy's bed!

This beautiful weather we have been having has been awesome. It is so nice to just sit outside with Charlie. He loves his stroller when he doesn't have to sit in his carrier, as you can tell. We are still a little hesitant to take him for an actual walk when he is not in the carrier because he is still so small and the straps on the stroller are not that tight on him. This is a picture of him sitting in his stroller while Daddy is doing some yard work! Pretty soon he will be right beside him helping him out! Tim can't wait for that!

Lots has been going on, and the end of this week we are leaving for Florida to go visit Grandpa! We are actually going to be driving down which should be very interesting. We are going to stop at Aunt Sue and Uncle Brian's house in Georgia instead of going straight through. Hopefully Charlie will cooperate in the car... I think he will, he usually loves the car. We have so much stuff to bring I couldn't imagine flying...not to mention that I HATE flying. So this will be a little adventure. I am so excited to get Charlie in the pool, although I think he might be a bit young to like it...lets keep our fingers crossed. I bought him the cutest bathing suits with spf shirts that go with them and little hats. I also got him a little tent that he can lay in while Mom and Dad are sunning themselves...haha. I can't WAIT to lay in the sun, although I am NOT looking forward to putting a bathing suit on. Of course I will post lots of pics when we get back!

Oh and I almost forgot...Charlie giggled for the first time the other day. It was while he was sleeping and he hasn't done it since, but it was the best sound I ever heard and I can't WAIT for him to do it while he is awake!
