Goodbye Summer

I cannot believe summer is coming to an end...and I really can't believe that I start work TOMORROW...BOOOOO! We had such a wonderful summer and I am really going to miss my little monkey when I go back to work. The good thing is he will be with Tim, Grandma DeDe and our cousin Tina so I really can't complain, I know he will be in good hands. We spent a week down the shore with Grandpa and Uncle Dave was able to come down too, which Charlie loved and so did Uncle Dave. They had so much fun together, Uncle Dave would work on Charlie's crawling with him a little bit everyday. Charlie is sooo ready to crawl..he is "scooting" along very well. He gets hung up on his little arm and just pushes himself along with his head..it is very funny. He grunts and grunts because he is trying so hard...he will be moving in no time. We had to lower his crib because this morning he pulled himself up into a sitting position..i couldn't believe it. We also installed the second stage car seat and got rid of the carrier. My little man is growing up way to fast. He started eating puffs on his own..it is hysterical to watch him put them in his mouth and chew with his one tooth. His tooth came in a few weeks ago and he was a champ...we didn't even know it was there until it popped through...what a good boy! He has been going to bed between 7 and 7:30 and sleeps until about 8, but when we put him down any later than that he gives us a difficult time..he gets way to over tired. His naps are getting longer and longer throughout the days, it really just depends on his mood I guess. He absolutely loves his cousin Kori...whenever she comes near him his little face lights up and he just screams and screams...in a good way. We think he might be developing a little bit of stranger anxiety, but hopefully he will get over it fast. He seems to be more afraid of men than women, which I think is very funny considering he is such a little flirt. He is at such a fun age right now, he is doing new things everyday it is so hard to keep track of them. Hopefully I won't miss too much when I am at work. That's all for now.
