We Love Summer!

It's been a crazy and fun summer. Charlie loves being outside and being in the water. We took him to Uncle Shawn and Aunt Kristine's pool, Joe and Beth's pool and Rock Spring and everytime he absolutely loved the water. He would float around in a tube and just relax and at Rock Spring he loved playing with the fountains...he was in there for an hour! Hopefully he will love the beach just as much.

He has been eating like crazy...he eats all his fruits and veggies and loves every second of it. He loves his yogurt too. He has been sitting in his high chair like a big boy at all his meals and he is even starting to hold his bottle by himself. I can't believe how big he is getting. He is rolling all over the place and trying so hard to crawl. He can get up on his knees, but just can't quite pull himself with his hands...soon enough I am sure. We started Little Gym at the beginning of the month and he LOVES it! My cousin's girlfriend Karen teaches the class and he absolutely loves her. Everytime he looks at her he starts smiling and cracking up...its great! He started to sit up on his own, he can stay up for about a minute and then he topples over. Hopefully by the time we go down the shore he will be sitting on his own. He loves his exosaucer and can stay in there for about a half hour at a time before he gets bored, and he likes his walker too, but is not quite sure that he can actually move himself. We put his Johnny Jumper up and he seems to like it, but only for a very short time. That is how he was in the exosaucer too, so I am sure he will start liking it more and more.

I am enjoying every second with him and don't know how I am going to go back to work in September, but at least I know he is going to be in good hands. Here are some pictures of my growing little boy...

Charlie and Daddy are taking a little cat nap! We usually bring Charlie into our bed around 7am, he will watch tv for a little before we feed him at 8. Sometimes he falls back to sleep...it is the best family time in the mornings!
