Getting Ready!

Well I am officially on maternity leave and I have mixed feelings about it. I love being home getting ready for Baby Banta's arrival, but at the same time I do miss my students (I know that sounds ridiculous, but its true). On my days off so far I have been doing laundry and getting the baby's room in order. Little clothes are really hard to fold! I have also been doing a lot of reading, which is nice and relaxing, especially while gliding on the glider. The baby's rug finally came in and the room is pretty much finished. I LOVE THE RUG!!! It is so cute! I will post pictures as soon as all the "crap" is put away and not all over the floor. I am going to the doctor every week at this point, which is just crazy to me.
Tim put together some of the important baby stuff that we will be needed right away, like the bouncy seat, stroller and pack-n-play. It took us quite a while to figure out how to snap the carrier into the stroller, so it should be very interesting once there is actually a baby inside it! I wish I video taped him trying to fold up the pack-n-play...it was definitely a sight! I still feel great, other than the numbness in two fingers on my right hand, but it is definitely tolerable. Hopefully I will continue to feel this good through the holidays! That's all for now.
